Get your heart pumping with this exciting combination of exotic rhythms and high-energy beats in a fun, exhilarating dance party workout! Zumba® fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms with easy-to-follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program. The goal is simple: to want to work out, to love working out and to get hooked. Zumba® fanatics achieve long-term benefits in one exhilarating hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements.

A modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower intensity. This class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba choreography focusing on balance, range of motion and coordination. Come ready to sweat, and leave feeling empowered and strong!
Zumba Gold is held at the Milliken Athletic Complex (MAC):
Thursday: 9:30 am
First class is free, purchase a Seniors (55+) 10-class punch online for $24
Dance choreography, strength training and Hip Hip combine in a FUN, judgement-free environment! It’s challenging but so worth it! You’ll walk away having learned some new moves while also having had a great workout! Class meets every other Monday for six weeks at the MAC.
Time: 6:30 pm-7:15 pm
Dates: 10/19, 11/2 and 11/16
Location: MAC – Community Rooms
Held at the Johnstown Community Center – 101 E. Charlotte Street
Chair yoga is a 1 hour class that uses a chair as a prop and as a tool to make the yoga practice assessable for anyone. Start with the breath and mindful moments. Expect to move your spine, strengthen major muscle groups and improve balance in this fun community oriented class.
Monday’s from 9:30 am – 10:30 am
Friday’s from 9:30 am – 10:30 am (starting September 25)
- Participants will be let in 5 to 7 min before class begins.
- Each person will need to have a mask, temperature taken, and sanitize their hands upon entry.
- Johnstown Community Center will minimize objects brought into the center (preferably just car keys).
- Participants will only be allowed to sign up for a class up until one hour before class begins.
