Hunter Education cards will be awarded upon successful completion of the class, written test, and live fire. Rifles, ammunition, and safety gear are provided, and no personal firearms are allowed. The course is open to ages 10 and older, with anyone under 15 required to attend with an adult. All students must be able to pass a 50-question multiple-choice test and safely complete the live fire portion.

The course will run from 9:00am to 12:30pm with classroom instruction at the Milliken Athletic Complex, followed by the live fire portion from 12:30pm to 3:00pm at the Milliken Police Department’s private range. Students must have their own transportation to and from the live fire session.
