The Safe Sitter Babysitting one-day course is designed to give participants the knowledge and skills needed to be safe, responsible and successful babysitters! Participants will learn safety skills, first aid and rescue skills of a choking infant and child, life and business skills, childcare skills and more! This prepares students to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. The instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises. Students even get to use mannequins to practice rescue skills like choking rescue and CPR! This class does provide CPR training though it will not provide a CPR certification. For 5th to 8th grade students.
